I've got a question for you. Is it possible to use something like Adobe Audition to remove vocals from a MP3 file to create a karaoke file? I've tried breaking out the channels and inverting one of them. Then I discovered that there is a setting inside of Audition under Center Channel Extractor called 'Vocal Remove'. It seems to do a pretty good job, but there is still a faint echo of the singer that remains. I'm wondering if there is a way to remove, or dial way down, the remnants of the voice, so all that's left are the instruments.
