Gameplans not saving for MP

I need help. Into week 3 of the regular season MP, and my gameplans never come back in the league files. I load a gameplan every week, and after the game all the settings are reset to whatever the game was when we started the league. I even tried inputting the gameplan on the roster sim, before the game, and same thing, it came back with those original settings. My depthchart settings seem to be coming back as I programmed.

I have all my global options set to no except "Add information to gamelogs" and "Save gameplan and depth chart progress to export". My FoF2K4 experience is that my global options mean nothing. I have them all set on yes for my current MP league and my gameplan settings always come back as programmed. Other people in the league are not having this problem. I have little faith the game is actually running my gameplans. I'm on the verge of quitting unless I am certain my gameplanning is working. BTW, we are using the latest patch.

Depth chart information is included in the updates you receive from your commissioner, but game plan information is not kept up to date. That is solely stored on your computer. All other multi-player decisions, like contract offers, are not saved regardless of this setting.

I think the easiest way to see if your game plan is working is to change a specific down and distance in the game plan to always be a pass or run. Then after getting the results look at the game log for that specific situation and see if it was always a run or pass.

Very interesting. I wonder why Jim changed the gameplanning to not be saved, yet added the password feature to protect our gameplans. Doesn't make a lot of sense to protect the gameplans then set the game to not save it anyway.

So if i underestand it well, the Game is running your gameplans for the sim, but when the commish releases the post sim export, the gameplans are not included right?

If that is the issue, then there is no issue, the problem would be if the gameplans were not imported/ran.
