Help me - Fantasy

K - for the first time this year - I can't make a decision. I'm in the championship game & don't know who to start at my #2 RB spot (Gore is 1). My options Rudi Johnson (Cin) or Ron Dayne (Hou).

Didn't think this'd be a problem - but Dayne is playing really well, Houston is using him, and they're playing against the porous run D of Indy. Johnson is going against Denver.

The rest of my team looks pretty good - and I *should win the game (Yahoo has me favored 103-87, even with a projected 27 from LT for them).

So, should I go for the solid choice (Johnson), or a potential "big game" (Dayne). I'm thinking ... with Johnson, I can expect 80 yds - and could get a little more & poss a score. With Dayne, he *could exploit that Indy run D -- then again, Indy could score alot and leave the Texans looking to pass to play catchup early.

League scoring for RBs (10 yds = 1 pt; 1 TD = 6 pts. - both rushing and receiving).

I'd go with safe if you have such a good team. Rudi should not lay a goose egg... and this is Dayne we're talking about. He can come out and get 20 yards.

Houston could also be down 21-0 in the 1st quarter and there goes the run...

My guess is that you've used Rudi the vast majority of the time this year so, no need to change things up in the championship.

Yeah, I think this is where I am leaning & should do. Truthfully, I left off some "side" stuff that is probably making it a "tough" decision. - I got a lot of slack for picking up Dayne in the first place a few weeks ago; as I cut Manning (Eli) - and another team picked him up and started him in the last week of the reg. season. Just so happened that he was the difference in that team getting in the playoffs, and another team gettting ousted. My reasoning was that Manning wasn't in my plans for the remainder of the year (Manning was sucking and I planned to use Kitna vs GB last week & V. Young vs. Buf this week), and Dayne had Indy in the finals. So, in all honesty - all my - "you'll see in the championship" talk has me trying to convince myself to go anti-safe lol.

Yeah, that's my fear. That Dayne will fall off the map .

To some extent - but not so much. I had a trio of Gore, Portis, & Johnson who all "platooned" for me.

Thanks fellas.

Yeah, wow. Guess you can tell why I'm not in the Championship game for either of my 2 teams!
