Has the bug been mentioned?
I was looking through my roster and noticed Jerome Bettis only had 4 championship rings and Brett Farve had 5 - although both were on every championship team. I looked back through the stats and it seems since the rapidly declining Bettis did not get a carry in the playoffs for the most recent championship, he does not get credit for a ring.
I would think this would be a simple enough calculation by the game - simply give credit for a ring to all players on the roster. I didn't notice this until now and I have played about 100 seasons in 2k7. Has anyone else experienced this? If not, do yout think Jim might fix it in the future? I know this sounds kind of small but Bettis is the league's all time leading rusher and TD scorrer! I want him to have credit for his 5th ring! |

It's a "feature" that only players who are active for the Championship game get a ring.

I doubt that it will be changed. The tracking of championship rings was a feature that was added on in a patch for FOF 2004 (can't really remember how long ago). Jim has said that it was a design decision to allow only active players get rings.
