Translating to English

Sometimes it's a pain in the ass to buy stuff on the German economy. I hope I've translated this well. Happy New Year, ya'll.

Gegenstand standsicher eingraben oder so in einen leeren Getrankekasten stellen, bzw. fest in den fussteller eindrucken und standsicher so aufstellen, das die fullung ungehindert nach oben ausgeworfen werden kann.

I put that into the babelfish translator and this is what it gave me:

FWIW, I did not blow myself up. Of course, I was trying to light fireworks and wanted to read the instructions to make sure I knew which fireworks were "light and throw" and which ones were "light and blast off". I got it all right.
