From an extremely long time lurker....
THIS is finally the game that will start me posting on the board. WOW. Great job.
First of many questions: Who is the best person to send to the summer league? I mean in terms of position, initial skill, etc. Is there a ceiling in which the summer league wouldn't help a player (would sending a 60/80DT help speed up the process, or is it a moot point?) Thanks. I'll continue to lose sleep over this game. |

Welcome to the board. I'm no SkyDog or QuikSand, but I'd send a guy with a lot of potential but not overly developed. Sorta like real life.

Welcome! I'm with RA on this one... great potential, but not very developed yet.

That's my take, too. Note that the guy must be a second-year player, so you're sending someone you drafted or signed as an undrafted free agent the prior season. Pick someone who needs a bit of extra development.

I agree as well. I usually send the undrafted/later rounds pick 14/50 type of guy (who wouldn't get a lot of PT otherwise), rather than the 60/80 guy (who is, probably, already a starter).

I believe that there have also been people testing this that have found that in order to maximise sending a guy to the Solecismique League, the guy should be played the season immediately following, so maybe that should play a part in the decision...
