teams out of money
Is it me or are the players in this game getting too good too quick that teams are sigining them to ridiculous contracts and offering large bonuses. I think this is a problem. I dont think that in the NFL too many players get signed to those ridiculously large contracts unless youre a peyton manning, and there arent many of them ou there. By the 6th year teams are running out of cap room because too many players are signed to huge contracts and given unreal bonuses.

I believe this issue has already been brought up. I don't think we're going to get a fix anytime soon.

Actually, it is a rather isolated issue. It happens most often in seasons 5-8 of a career, and it happens more often with fictional starts. Those who are deep in careers have repeatedly reported that it is a pretty rare occurrence for them. One way to lower the frequency of it happening is to increase the cap increase range from 28-80 to something like 60-90.

Dola:
As an example, at the point that has been identified as most critical for this issue (the beginning of FA2), in my current league the best non-kicker available is a 59/59 SLB, and 25 of 32 teams have over 10% of the cap available. The ones with less cap room than that aren't in any real trouble, either, because they have an average of 40 players under contract already. There are some things that could improve here, but the sky certainly isn't falling.

In both my SP games teams seem to have huge amounts of cap room after a while. I guess it all depends on a huge variety of variables - I think the TV contract has been very generous in both cases.
