I know that we have a lot of those on this board who are not from North America. The NFL made official that at least one regular season game will be played in London this upcoming (2007) season.

Out of curiosity; how many of you are interested/would be interested in attending an NFL game (regardless of teams) in your home country?

Sadly, it would depend a lot on what it would cost. (Hey, I am Dutch afterall!) I've been to NFL Europe games before (including a bowl game without the local team involved), but I'm not sure I'd invest $100 or more in such an event. If money was no issue, I'd try to be the first to get a couple of tickets.

Even if the ticket costs 1000 €, I'm there.

EDIT: wrong currency

I would certainly be interested in going if the NFL were to decide that it wanted to bring a regular season game to Scotland.

London - well, that's a different matter, as that's over 400 miles away, and would require either flying or a fairly significant train journey, then an overnight stay after the game. Not sure about costs, but I'd guess that I'm looking at over £100 just for that (before I get into the cost of the ticket...) As it's pretty much a given that I'd need to stay overnight, it would also mean that I'd need to take a day off work on the Monday too (from what I've heard, the kickoff for the London game will still be 1pm Eastern (i.e. 6pm UK time)).

I guess this isn't intended for American forces stationed abroad, eh?

I did travel to Tokyo to watch the Oilers and Cowboys play a pre-season game once, if that's any indication.

the NFL should lower the # of preseaon games, and add 1 extra regular season game. that extra game would be played in a neutral site in the States or overseas

The Bears played the Vikings here in Gothenburg back in 1987.. that game got me interested in Football in the first place, despite not being there.. My friend's dad was there though, and he gave us the match-program. You've never seen a match-program read that much

Unfortunately, I see this is being rather costly, with most companies being sold to companies who can do with them as they please (i.e. give them to customers). The Bears/Vikings matchup was entirely sponsored by Volvo.
