Poll:Who would you pick?

The NFL had 3 last place teams from '05 make this years playoffs.

New Orleans, NY Jets, and Philadelphia.

Who makes it next year?

Is there a "they all suck and will finish in last place again" option?

Miami: No. New coach, shaky QB situation, most coaches not hired by current coach.
Cleveland: New offense, green QB's... THey'll improve, but not enough in a tough division.
Houston: Two things come out of Texas...
Oakland: Come on...
Washington: Not that bad a team... Plus, Dallas will play a full season with Tony Homo being exposed as a backup, Philly will have McNabb back, but how healthy, & the Gints will have Gilbride running an offense...
Detroit: If Jebus coached this team it wouldn't make the playoffs (probably would come close, but lose a key game for 12 men on the field!)
Tampa Bay: Rebuilding the defense. Can the offense carry the team? Nope.
Arizona: What's not to like?

The Lions just need to draft a first round receiver and they're playoff bound

Washington & Arizona.

Arizona because they are in a weak division...and Washington because, well, because I felt obligated to pick 2 teams since I could.

I'd say that the Bucs have the best chance if Simms is back at 100%. Other than them, the Cardinals (one of the weaker divisions in the league) and Redskins (a lot of talent and improved QB play) look to be the top candidates in my eyes.

Well, the Lions need to sign Jebus. I'd take close at this point !

Nah, they'd be better off hiring a former NFL player that is currently a so-so analyst with no front office experience to run the entire franchise. I think that's the key in building a successful team.

Wow, I voted and then read. Exactly the same vote; exactly the same reasons.

So, some of you actually think the Joey/Daunte 2-headed monster will click in Cam Cameron's offense? Are you high?

I don't see a single team on this list that I'd say has a better than 50/50 chance of making the playoffs next season. I could certainly see it happening for Arizona or Tampa Bay, but not better than even money for either.

Every year Arizona makes great offseason moves and I think they'll make the playoffs and every year they prove me wrong.

Chris Simms will be like Lance Armstrong after cancer. When Lance was 15 pounds lighter after chemo, that helped him in the mountains. Being 12 to 14 ounces lighter from losing his spleen can only help to elevate Simms' game.

I went Arizona, Detroit, Cleveland.

With the Saints and Jets making it this year, I felt that it was OK to be a bit daring in my answers, so I went with my gut.
