If they remade "The Wizard"

You know you love the movie. You watch it to help you sleep at night. You realized that the Power Glove totally kicked ass. I'm talking about the Fred Savage, Luke Edwards vehicle The Wizard

So here are my questions:

If they remade The Wizard, who should play the Fred Savage part? His challenged brother's part? Jenny Lewis (of Rilo Kiley) part?

What game system should they remake it with? What game or potential game would cause the kind of awe and wonderment we all felt when the kid used the warp whistle from Super Mario 3 for the first time? What peripheral could they run across that makes us all say "Wow!"?

You guys are on the clock. And please, Uwe Boll, do not respond please.

This movie was proof to me as a child that my mother would cry during any movie.
