New apartment fun!
I moved. (Yay!)
I like the new place more than the old (especially the whole separate bedroom thing!) I complained about the door on the apartment and they replaced it with a nice, new door. Because they installed only one lock and a chain catch on the new door, I wanted to put aq second lock on it. Before that, I decided that since there is a catch for a chain, I should get a chain. So yesterday I am drilling two holes in the door jamb to mount the chain when I see a flash, hear a loud pop and the lights go out. Some genius ran the wiring for the kitchen light thru the door jamb! Now I have to rewire the light, as the super doesn't do electrical and said the building would charge for what is technically damage caused by me. |

I know! I just couldn't believe that as many screws/holes were put into that jamb that it took as long as it did for this to happen! (I just have that kind of luck...) |
