OVR?

Hi, new here. Played FoF many yeras ago, and have just bought 2007 after a long haitus.

Reading the forums, I see a few people quoting an 'OVR' rating. What is this rating exactly? It doesn't seem to correspond to current rating or potential rating as seen in the scouting screen.

Hi! Welcome to the board.

The "OVR" rating people are referring to is the rating showed in the "Scout overview" view, on the roster screen.

That was my first thought, but when I checked, it didn't seem to fit. FOr example, check out this dynasty report

http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/...ad.php?t=56378

If you look at his first draft, all his players came out with an OVR of over 75, with many in the 80s. I have just started a game with San Diego and LT, Antonio Gates and Lorenzo Neal are only in the 80s. And at the start of thread he was claiming that players in the mid 70s weren't even making the roster. Am I looking at the wrong stat?

I think that dynasty is using Madden 2007 and not FOF2k7, that's probably what's throwing you off. In the title of the thread he refers to the dynasty as a "Madden Simchise."
