How would you make a regular photograph to look like a panel in a comic book?

Thanks!

Here's one way:

http://www.bertmonroy.com/tutorials/...colorizing.htm

Bert Monroy has written a lot excellent photoshop books and articles. those would be helpful, too.

On top of that, Bert Monroy now has a video podcast I am subscribed to:

And here is that lesson OldGiants was referring to in video:

By the way, I can't see a picture in this thread. Is it just me?

Oh and since I can't see what you posted, if it is a actual photography, this method would be even better. A little more work though since you have to do a combination of line art with pop art.

No photo, but just a general question. But this link is perfect! I can't wait to go home and try it out.

An excellent link, Antmeister!

The Bert Monroy example was for comic book drawing, that is, making a line drawing and then using Photoshop to color it. I've had okay results doing that, but its time consuming on an old machine. I can't see the videos either, but I'd bet they are from his appearances on the Screen Savers back when TechTV was in its salad days. God, I miss that network.
