I'm not watching this particular episode so I really can't comment on it, but on the whole I'd say it's above average TV (although that's damning with faint praise to some extent), at least based on the reruns I catch on late night cable.
It's formulaic at times but it's a comfortable formula, so that works pretty well.

CSI: Las Vegas and New York are quite good. Miami has the king of overacting David Caruso starring so that brings it down about 1000 notches. The blonde chick is damn hot though.

I had no idea that she was pushing 40. No kids though, about the only thing keeping her from being a serious MILF.

I like most of the CSI shows and will watch them occasionally, but I do think CSI:Miami is by far the worst of the bunch. Of course, I have an unnatural hatred for that howdy doody looking dude.

Only one show comes to mind...
Grey's Anatomy, plus living in Seattle where the show is supposedly at, adds a special tinge of hatred to me. Its the only show that the wife watches religiously. It blows harder then a hurricane.

I've never seen any CSI shows, but I did like the Sports Guy's comment on them during his running diary of the Grammys... He wonders if the hooker population has about dried up, since it seems as if they are killed off weekly on CSI.

Can you 'dola' inside a post? I don't think that really fits the usage. Can we get a ruling on this?

Its the new company that makes pineapple, dola! Thank you for your restraint bullet, I do my best not to leave jokes that open... I might have just done it again, but I'm a bit on the sauce after my 'procedure' right now...

Look this is getting out of hand. Who policies the dola usage around here? Is it SkyDork? Someone other mod? Or do we need to assign someone to the role?

I was starting to go crazy after the 5 minute mark, but the ending is priceless...I also have another clip from Session9 that is priceless of David Caruso, but I'm not sure if I should post it due to work nature.

I stopped watching CSI:Miami after about 3-4 shows.
Just ... can't ... stand ... Car ... uso (and his off-again, on-again sunglasses). What cracks me up is every promo I see now for the show has big explosions and a lot of gunfire. Isn't the show supposed to be about Crime Scene Investigations ... like, after the crime happened?

I can think of quite a few worse shows, and I'm not particularly into CSI Miami... to start with Big Brother, Dancing with the Stars (I'm sure you have that crap in the States as well), Survivor, American Idol.. hmm.. anyone see a pattern here?

I don't mind Caruso so much actually, but that show is horrible. I just can't watch it.
Although ER has got to be close to as bad now. At least it was getting to be that bad when I last watched it, and that was probably seven years ago. How long has that been on the air anyway? |

Did anyone see the CSI: Miami where terrorists had a truck full of explosives and were heading to blow up a nuclear plant? Do the call in the army? no. Do they call in the FBI, nope...Who stops the terrorist threat but David Caruso with one well aimed shot from a sniper rifle. Who needs the army or homeland security when Captain Sunglasses is on the case.

I do like that Caruso left NYPD Blue to star in movies. They all realized he sucked, so he went BACK to a crime drama. Priceless stuff.

If it's who I think it is, it is very easy to get a pic/clip of her up close and topless in some move with Ross from friends. I saw it on HBO, so it shouldn't be that hard to find.

Caruso acting tips...
Never raise your voice. Keep the same calm and serious tone no matter what the topic. Smiling is a mortal sin but if you must make sure the smile looks to be a forced and uneasy grimmace. Do not look at the person you are talking to in the scene until you complete your statement. Put sunglasses on at end of statement to add to dramatic affect. Always remember, you are what makes the show successful so be ready to demmand the world of the producers for allowing them to watch your amazing talent on screen. Wait, um, sunshine, golf, and ASU co-eds. Fuck, I see crimes in dreams too! Hire me Phoenix PD!

Alright, how fucking awesome was the 2 parter that aired this week? Caruso just mows down like 10 brazillian gang members in cold blood. I know the show is pretty much exclusively camp value, but we're talking sharks with lasers camp value.

We used to watch the original CSI every week, but even that couldn't get me to watch David Caruso act. And come to think of it, I've never seen a second of the other CSI either. Now we don't watch any of them, and I'm back where I was 10 or so years ago, watching New Detectives. Who needs fake drama when you can get the real thing?

We still watch the original CSI, but Caruso turned me and Mrs. E off to CSI Miami and I think CSI: Miami turned us off to CSI: NY.
