Question Solevision speed?

The discussion in the bug thread got me wondering: what speed do you mainly use when watching a game in Solevision?

Normal, with judicious use of the "Pause" button. Would still prefer a "Next Line" button and the ability to scroll back through old plays.

"Fast", but I hit pause alot because it's a tad too fast.

Normal, but it drags just a little too much IMHO. Fast is way too fast.

I wish there was a speed between normal and fast or a rewind button. Since there is no rewind button, I usually use normal.

I usually use fast, unless a friend and I are watching our games against each other on separate computers, then we usually use normal. I also use normal toward the end of close games. But usually it's fast with use of the pause button.

Do the speeds differ on different computers? Because "slow" is about as fast as I can go. I don't see how anyone could say it drags on "normal." I'm can read fast when I want but I can't see how you can fully absorb the text in "normal" let alone anything faster.

Kind of like the difference between a newpaper article and a good novel. Sure, you could read the novel fast like a newspaper article but you're not absorbing all the info that makes a novel a good read.

I go with slow. Slow and low, that is the tempo.

It depends. Usually at the outset of a game, I'll keep it on the slower, slow levels, but as the game gets going, I'll bump it up to normal and if it becomes a blowout, I'll bump it up to fast or faster until I see a big play when I'll hit pause.

Yes. "Slow" on one of my machines actually appears to be a hair faster than "Normal" on the other.

I rotate a lot between Normal, Fast and Faster. Usually going down in speed when things are looking good for my team, while speeding up when we're donw by 3 scores.

I wish I had a speed between slow and normal. Slow is a tad too slow for me, normal just a hair too fast to really digest it all.

I use normal most of the time. I do wish also that solevision had a rewind button on there to go back to previous plays. Also, I dont know if anyone has noticed this or not but the games dont show that it is a final in MP leagues on solevision. It stops at the last play of the game.

Put me in the "I wish it had an 'advance one line' button" camp. That's how I always read the game logs in 2k4...

This is pretty much exactly what I posted in the original discussion.
