Player Values

I was just curious if there was a way to determine the value of a player when making a trade? Since the computer teams may not trade with you if you give them a bad offer, it would be nice to determine how much a guy is worth. It'd be nice if the scout or the coach gave you an indication of a player's worth when tradiing for him or trading him away. I seem to be insulting the other team, but I think the trades are fair offers. So when I get them to accept an offer, I wonder if I overpaid. I know there's a draft chart out there that tells you what picks are worth, but I haven't seen one for players. Thanks.

Keep in mind the new retirement situation. It's a little different in this version. The computer AI will value young, good potential guys, over older veterans, high salary and even with good ratings. That wasn't true in past versions. Much better now IMO.

I am on a quest to show that the Dolphins can win the Super Bowl. Or should I say Front Office Bowl, with FOF2K7.
