Disappointment

I had to share this because I am sooo angry with my team right now that I am contemplating blowing it up. I assemble an awesome group, very cap strapped though. I knew it would be a 1-2 year run at the FOB. I go 15-1, have the #1 ranked offence in both Rushing and Passing. I have the #1 Ranked defense in both Rushing and Passing. I get a 1st round bye and in the Divisional Playoffs, I get KC (9-7). I jump out to a 20-0 lead. I hold that lead until the middle of the 4th quarter where KC puts a 2 TD's in a matter of minutes. I am driving and Gannon throws a pick that is returned for a TD. Final 21-20.

Tough luck man. I have had several disappointing playoff games as well. It always seems that when I am a huge favorite to win....those are the games I seem to always lose.

What sucks even more is your draft position after the season is over.

Time to fire Schottenheimer.

I actually did fire the coach after the season. He was with me 5 years and went to 3 playoffs, losing in the 1st game 3 times. Good call on Schottenhiemer.....

Get a coach with very good or better motivation this should be enough to propel your team into a championship.

I just want a coach who has the discipline to make sure my guys don't have too many stupid penalties. Too many men on the field, Delay of Game (after a timeout), false starts, Unsportsmanlike Conduct after a 3rd down stop. Urgh.

Gannon? I'm assuming this is a historical league?

Yes. I started in 1974 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Won 6 FOB in 8 years. Drafted Gannon as a replacement for Terry Bradshaw.
