Why would a former GM of the Cincinnati Reds post here?

Actually, isn't the best way to get in touch with him to PM Skydog and ask him how to get in touch with Jim?

Yes, but you want to go about it the right way. Start with the line "jbmagic is a personal friend of mine. He said I should contact you via PM"

Am I the only one whe read "Awesome Jam," and was thinking "a forum site dedicated to lovers of tasty preserves?"

M GO BLUE!!!: "Hey JPhillips, I just found this great site with an awesome recipe for cherry jelly!"

JPhillips: "You mean Awesome Jam.com?"

M GO BLUE!!!: "Well, I say it must be jelly, because jam don't shake like that."

(maybe I should be posting in the ping:drunk guy thread...)

Jim Gindin responds to my questions in two ways, and two ways only:

His left hook, and his right cross.

Jim Gindin say what just hit me in the ass!!

Sometimes SkyDog isn't paying attention to his PM, so make sure you send 10-12 to really get his attention.
