Warm sunsets on the beach...
The waves hitting the shore in such a way that could best be described as a plane crashing with a parachute attached. The setting sun painting the sky colors that may not have existed without this very sight. The lovers holding their lovers, the golden haired girls of 17 not realizing that this, the sunset, is a metaphor for their waning innocence. Sailboats in the distance, asking you what keeps you so tied to this solid ground. The sand, which with each soggy footprint you lay down illustrating oh so vividly how every action you take effects the meaningless world around you. The decaying kelp strewn about, torn away from the sea by the pure natural force of the moon induced tide.
Midwesterners, you know not what you're missing. And if there is a God, that means that God created this beach. And if God could create something like this out of nothing but the innerworkings of his Will Wrightian mind, then there's only one explanation: He high.
