PING: VPI or utility gurus (was: can't find logos)
Hi folks,
EDIT: Nevermind the logos, handling those myself. however I was hoping to find one of the extractor/almanac style utilities to generate better quality HTML output. I know Fido's stopped being produced, I was hoping perhaps VPI's version worked with FOF2004 and if so where I could get ahold of a copy? Thanks!

No, VPI's FOF Almanac was only released publicly for FOF2001 if I remember correctly.

Hrm, that sucks. No offense to Jim but the html output from the game is gawd awful.
At this point I'm going through a series of search and replace items every time I generate HTML. Maybe I can figure out how to create a batch file that will do all these edits for me in one step. Then I suppose I'd be set. At least I can play several seasons before having to generate html and go through the editing again each time. *les sigh* IF Jim can add some things to the next version (variable # of teams and expansion during single play) as well as create a non-eyeball gouging html output I'd be throwing money at him for the game. I haven't bothered buyin the 07 incarnation because it really didn't change enough to make it worthwhile for me. ahh well, back to my editing. |
