My intent is the renact the legacy of John Wooden, in 1948 Wooden would've preferred to have taken the Minnesota coaching position but due to inclement weather he never received their phone offer. Mr. Wooden thinking Minnesota had lost interest accepted the UCLA job.

This legacy starts in 1946, with Mr. Wooden's first college coaching position at Indiana State. My goal is to jump to Minnesota in 1948...

I will be coaching each game and posting monthly recaps.

Next year this team might be happy to be called mediocre, we lose both Rayford and Voigt. Four recruits have signed, including Mr. Basketball from Missouri. I'll recap at season's end. I'm trying to keep this realistic, so I won't be seeing these recruits until 1948.
