List of Plays by Formation?
Hi guys,
Newbie here, purchased FOF two days ago and really enjoying it so far. I tried searching the forum a bunch of times, but keep getting an error, so I apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere: Is there anywhere in the game, in these forums, or elsewhere that lists all the offensive plays available by formation type? It would be nice to have a comprehensive list available to print out and use to help "game plan" in advance as I prefer to call all of my own plays. Thanks in advance! ![]() |

To answer this few days old question that I saw as I was looking for another thread...
No, there's no list of plays by formation, except of course from the play calling screen, and no list that I've seen on the forums. I haven't called plays in quite awhile, but taking a quick look in one of my careers I see most of the same running plays for most formations, and see about the same for passing, although not quite as much. |

One of these days I'm going to crack open the playcall.fdt file and figure out what's in it...

I made a list for myself in an Excel file last year, but from FOF2004. There were a couple of errors in the games file (plays listed twice) and I believe I might have made a couple of typos, but it works for me when using it for played out games with 2k7.

Thanks Rizon,
That's exactly the type of thing I was looking for. I had started to make up my own in Excel in a similar format (without the formation graphics though, which add a nice touch). But, it was a surprising long endeavor, so I started doing one formation per every game I played and was planning to post the results here once I was finished. Since I had only completed 5 formations, you've saved me a ton of work! Thanks again. |
