PING: Lions Fans (both of ya!)

I want to hear these words come 11:14am...

The Oakland Raiders have made a trade with Detroit.

Oakland recieves Detroit's 1st round pick, 3rd round pick and a 2008 1st round pick.

The Detroit Lions are now on the clock.

With the first pick in the 2007 draft, the Detroit Lions select Ted Ginn, wide receiver, Ohio State.

(We can then legally hunt down Millen and beat him.)

They better pick Calvin Johnson, the man is a beast. You don't influence this years pick based on previous screw-ups. Treat this year as this year. The local media will have a field day with Millen, not that they dont anyway, but still he cant pass on Calvin Johnson.

My head would explode, so I could not join the Millen hunt.

As I mentioned earlier somewhere I'd be happy with either:

1) Sticking with #2 and taking Calvin Johnson.

or

2) Trading down with Atlanta, getting the extra 2nd rounders and taking Patrick Willis.

Come on... You wouldn't give up two #1's and a #3 for Desmond Howard, Jr?

I'm a bit slap-happy... Worked until 11p last night. At this second job at 6a. I get to work tomorrow too!

I hope they draft Calvin and keep him. They don't need another Kalimba (Adams). I do like Willis if they can trade down though, but that trade would have to be amazing to not take a future superstar like Johnson.

Proof Wolverines and Spartans can, under adverse conditions, think alike.
