Unsigned Rookie Holdouts

I'm in Season 4 a SP league and there are still 4 unsigned first round picks at Week 11. I was just curious what happens to those players if they aren't signed? Do they go back into the draft pool next season or do they go to FA?

Sorry if this has been answered before (and I would be surprised if it hasn't), but I tried several different searches and couldn't find this issue addressed.

They go back in the draft pool for the following year. Of course they are one year older.
