sams club or costco?

I'm buying alcohol for our wedding and want the cheapest prices. I've had a sams club membership before, pretty decent prices in bulk. How's Costco comparitively?

I prefer Costco by far to Sam's Club. We get all our large meat purchases there.

The lines are shorter at Sam's Club. That's worth at least something.

Price-wise they are about the same. But in my experience, the quality of the stuff at Costco just seems better to me than the stuff at Sam's. If it is a name brand item, like Miller Lite or Coors, they are exactly the same, and it's best to go on price.

They just started building a CostCo less than 10 minutes from my house, on the way to work. I've never been in one before, but have had various memberships at Sam's over the years. If the lines at CostCo are LONGER than they are at Sam's, I probably won't join. One of the main reasons we don't keep our Sam's membership is because it's a zoo.

I've never had more than 2-3 people in front of me at Costco.

Costco, although I'm biased since my wife is a supervisor there.
