Craigs List?

I saw one in the Archives but I thought I would start a new one to see what others experiences have been on Craigs List. I just listed an entertainment center that my wife and I are trying to get rid of and I have already received 3 emails about people coming over to make an offer. One of them was some nigerian guy who asked me to wire him some money and he will send me 1 million dollars in return and take my entertainment center.

I also wanted to post here because I have complete strangers coming over throughout the week, so if my wife and I get murdered, there will be a trail

Why do you even have people coming over? Do you think your going to beat the offer from the Nigerian guy?

I've used it a few times to sell things and have had no problems (the DC craigslist). I think I'm still alive anyway. I don't have any cravings for brains, so I must not be a zombie..

I used Craig's List a month or two ago to find a home for my dog, and that is also where I found our new kitten. I'd used it before to sell some concert tickets and things like that, but I've never used it for anything that would involve people coming to my house, or me going to theirs. I'd just say make sure you talk to them on the phone before you agree to let them come over, you should be able to get a pretty accurate vibe from that...

One of the people who called had chainsaws going in the background and people screaming to stop, but the screams seem to stop after a good 5 minutes of the chainsaw ripping around. They sound ok, right? Especially if they have bud light with them?


Seriously though, I do have one person emailing me from another state, saying that I should take the ad down, they will send me an out of state check, when it clears, they will send a moving crew to get the item and bring it to him. That sounds shady, doesn't it?
