I worked a 24 hour shift once. Of course it was my fault - I pulled the wrong controller and fuXXord and entire disk array, had to reconfigure from scratch - but it pays the same, right?

Just in case people are wondering. I worked from 8:30 AM monday to 3:30 PM Wednesday. 31 consecutive hours. I work in the legal field. I'm taking about an hour and a half to grab some stuff so I can head to my girl's to take care of the dog while she's out of town taking care of wedding stuff. Then I've got to head back to work til around 8pm.

I also worked 13 hours on Monday and 10 on Sunday. When its all said and done, 57 hours in 4 days, 1 of which was a holiday.

Also, I had the runs all day yesterday, so being cooped up at work having to crap every 15 minutes was not ideal. I have no idea how Jack Bauer is so pleasant all day long.

When I managed at Wendy's back in the day I once closed (4pm-2am) and then turned around and opened (5am-4pm). I DID run home and shower between the two shifts, but I went back in around 3am to catch up on some paperwork. I was pretty damn worn out by the time I was able to finally leave for the day...
