Hold a rubber band with the thumb and index finger of your left hand, both fingers parallel with the ground facing away from you.

Using the index finger of your right hand, apply pressure to the elastic just above where your thumb is holding it, removing it from your thumb but keeping the elastic taunt enough that your right hand index finger doesn't slide to a different area of the elastic.

Pull your left hand index finger towards your body while rotating it 180˚ (but keeping the same point of contact with the elastic). If done properly your right index finger should be the directly ahead of your left index finger with the fingersnails facing one and other.

Now line up your shot and if you do this just right, you can leave some fantastic welts from about 10 feet away

Works best with solid, not over stretched elastics. The really tiny ones or the very wide band one's don't get nearly as much range.
