Thumbs up Now THIS is how you start a career!

I have a very solid stable of wide receivers, but my best is in year 10, so when Wade Gatewood fell to 2(27), I couldn't pass him up. He was inactive for the first eight games of his rookie year. However, when my WR3 went Out with a strained deltoid, Gatewood was activated, and placed in the WR4 slot. The first pass thrown his way was a bad throw due to a hurry. However, the second was his first catch ever, and immediately stamped his name into the team record book.

Quote:
Atlanta: Strong formation with three wideouts, strength is left. The defense is in a 43 with nickel personnel and 2-deep man-to-man coverage, expecting the pass. Miller is blitzing.
3-10-ATL05 (2Q: 01:49) C.J. Oliveros pass completed to WR Wade Gatewood for 95 yards and a TOUCHDOWN! Gatewood gained 91 yards after the catch.Atlanta 20, Chicago 7

Nothing like a 4 yard quick throw that goes 95 yards.
