Hot and Rain

So it's been crazy hot here the past week or so (right now it "feels like" 45C, or 113F). And tonight there's supposed to be 25-30mm of rain.

Does anyone else like the feeling of warm rain?

No, not a golden shower!!

This reminds me. One time, I knew this Canadian girl. This one time I said to her "Does it look like its snowing to you?" And she said: "Snowing! Are you kidding, its almost 30 degrees out!"

25-30mm? You seriously get rain amounts in millimeters? How come Canadian Bacon didn't pick on this?

Not in a freaking dress damnit. And not frolicing either. But I wouldn't mind standing outside in it.

I believe a light downpour is something like 5-10mm. So 25-30 seems like a pretty big amount. Raining all night type of thing.

Yes, we get rain in mm.

Now it "feels like" 47C (or 117F). And 30-40mm (1.18-1.57 inches) of rain in the evening.

Since I've thought about it, we get close to -50C with wind in the winter. This is almost a 100C range that we've got in Winnipeg.

<------------ I know what you mean...yesterday and today it finally cooled down somewhat but we'll be back in the fire soon enough. Oh goodie.
