NCAA Campus Legend mode

I've only done a QB and an MLB. Which position do you guys think is most fun to play?

I tried my first one as corner and it really wasn't alot of fun, not many plays go your way and when they do the camera angle could be best described as frustrating. I think if you want to be a DB you should try one of the safety positions.

The camera for the MLB is definitely a little frustrating too. Sometimes it changes directions and you don't know which way to press to go where you want to go.

I find HB the sweet spot for me. You're involved with a lot of plays and you do a variety of things (run, block, receive), but you don't have "too much" control over the game (you can't audible out of plays you don't like for example) which adds a degree of realism for me.

I agree for the above reasons. QB would be my second choice though, followed by WR.

Actually, I'm not sure Ks and Ps are an option.

I've quite enjoyed my RB one thus far, next step will be trying out DE.

I haven't tried in NCAA as i'm still waiting for the postman to bring it to me, but in Madden 07 i enjoyed a lot playing MLB, both taking care of coverage and stopping the run. I tried DE as it looked fun to get sacks, but it was damn hard and most of the time it was boring. Agree that RB in offense is the most fun position, also TE is fun being part of the blocking and passing game.

+2! I've blocked on FGs/Extra Points. I've knocked a D-Lineman off his rush so the QB could complete a long pass. I've run a swing route and then pushed a defender off his chase to spring the receiver for a TD. I've chased down a guy who picked the QB off and laid the hammer down. I've caught passes. I've run plays.

HB has been a ton of fun. I'll probably try WR before QB just to continue getting a feel for more of the game before running an offense.

One good thing about legend games is that they go real fast. Although there is a disconnect when it zips through the plays that you aren't involved in. Does anyone watch from the sidelines when they aren't on the field?

I actually enjoy running an OLB or SS in the campus legend mode, It's because I blitz a lot from both of those positions, so I get in there, lay the smack down on the QB. Playing as BYU this season, my OLB has taken out 2 starting QB's through his constant blitzes, and smashing the QB....although I have been burned a couple of times as well...you know, live by the blitz die by the blitz rings true...

I have been running HB and SS games, and I enjoy them both. However, the HB one just seems to be a ton of fun, so I definitely recommend that...

HB is good. I wasn't going to be a QB, then I realized that being an option QB is fun for me because I like running the option. So I recommend that, although I want to hang onto the ball at all times!

I personally liked playing WR, only I need to realize I can help the QB throw an interception by calling for the ball all the time. Other than that it is pretty fun catching and then turning a short play into a long TD. I played CB with one of my other CL careers and did okay in the playoffs (2 pick 6s, a handful of tackles, a few blown coverages), but once I made it to college, I got 4 pass interference penalties in my first game. Obviously the refs see things a little better in the daylight.

I see P and K have become the obligatory trout options.
