I don't see Denver going into Pittsburgh with a young QB and winning in the playoffs.

I don't see Pittsburgh making the playoffs so I guess it all evens out.

Based on what I saw last night, the Steelers look pretty good. I see them in the second round of the playoffs.

So based on the first preseason game of the year on neutral field in the rain you think you can see playoff calibur performance from a team with 30+ players on it that won't be there a month from now.

Gotcha...

Broncos are very solid. They have a real RB for the 1st time since Terrell Davis left. They have 2 good receiving TEs. And a stud WR.
Defense is very good.
Broncos in a blow out, 42- 14.

ACTUALLY... based on the fact that I've been a fan of this team for my entire life, I can tell, yes, from one preseason game, that this is a team full of energy. They are physical, and they have bought what Mike Tomlin is selling. Any fan who watched the Steelers last year knows that they lacked any sort of leadership, and therefore were a totally uninspired team. They were not that on Sunday night.

So yes, they beat the Broncos.

Enough already, my sides are starting to hurt.... but thanks for the laugh....

As much as I love the Steelers, I'm thinking it'll take a year to switch to Tomlin. I hope they prove me wrong though. I still see them fighting for a wild card though.

I agree, but seriously, the steelers secondary is still 3 players short of quality, the O-line is still suspect and parker is still not bettis. The steelers lost a lot of their games last year because they simply couldn't pound the ball and hold the ball for the second half the way they had before.

Rothlesburger should rebound from a really shit season, I hope he does. I kept telling the Bills fans up here that they should have moved up 2 spots to get him. The Bills would have been in the playoffs for two years by now.

I just think he's jumping the proverbial howitzer on this this one by a LARGE amount.

AYLMAR: At least I'm no fool. I've learned from my mistakes I'm not making rediculously unfounded statements about my team anymore
