Thorogood and the Destroyers
Going to see the MAN tonight at the Hampton Beach Casino Ball Room! I'm PUMPED! I've been to a few concerts (DKM, Greenday, and.......
 Creed), but I've never been as excited to someone perform! Anyone else seen him live? Not sure if I should get shitty before or after...maybe during I dunno! Today is a great day! |

Yep, saw him in New Orleans in 1981 in the Superdome. He opened for the Rolling Stones. I've been a fan ever since.

Absolutely fantastic!!! He played all the greats: I Drink Alone, 1 Bourbon 1 Scotch 1 Beer, Bad to the Bone, Get a Haircut, The Fixer, etc. The only song he didn't play that I wished he had was If You Don't Start Drinkin'. The opening band was pretty good too...can't remember the name, but they were solid. The Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom is such a small venue that we were prob. 10-15 feet away. Needless to say, I'll be attending next year as well! |
