Another musical milestone to make you feel old

It was 20 years ago today that R.E.M. released "Document", the album that thrust them out of the college rock scene and into the mainstream. Hard to believe it has been that long.

I remember seeing Gn'R open for INXS at Texas Stadium on their 'Kick' tour back in 1987. Axl was wasted then, and couldn't sing half of the songs. This was before 'Welcome to the Jungle' became a hit.

Here are the release dates for the previous mentioned albums:

Welcome to the Jungle: 7/21/87
The Joshua Tree: 3/9/87

The Joshua Tree is probably my favorite album of all time.
