Everyone's getting into the environment game

http://www.cnn.com/2007/WORLD/europe...rss_topstories

Quote:
MOSCOW, Russia (AP) -- The Russian military has successfully tested what it described as the world's most powerful non-nuclear air-delivered bomb, Russia's state television reported Tuesday.

...

Channel One television said the new weapon, nicknamed the "dad of all bombs" is four times more powerful than the U.S. "mother of all bombs."

"The tests have shown that the new air-delivered ordnance is comparable to a nuclear weapon in its efficiency and capability," said Col.-Gen. Alexander Rukshin, a deputy chief of the Russian military's General Staff, said in televised remarks.

Unlike a nuclear weapon, the bomb doesn't hurt the environment, he added.

It's good to know that when everything in a 2 mile radius gets blown to hell, that the environment won't be harmed.

That is good to know, isn't it? If someone decides to bomb the crap out of the U.S. it is a little comforting that at least my children here in Canada won't be mutants (and it could work vice-versa).

How can you say that it doesn't hurt the enviroment when it burns everything inside a 2 miles ratio? It's said that it's the same than 44 Tons of TNT exploding so...

Of course, unlike with nuclear bombs, at least once eveything is burned, you can safely walk over the defeated burned cadavers.

I believe the environment would actually be assisted if they were to drop that same bomb on Al Gore's mansion.

I think a nice "burn off" is good for the environment.
It clears the old growth and rejuvenates the forest.

Not to mention it kills all the bad humans polluting the area.
I hope Green Peace doesn't develop these.
