MP Draft Utility - Advice?

Hello,

I'm involved with administration of the OSFL and we're currently in the midst of our second offseason. Last season we used VPI's draft utility and it worked great - the draft was easy to manage and ran very smoothly. Unfortunately, it seems that VPI is no longer supporting that utility and nobody on our end has enough knowhow to use his as a basline to develop one ourselves, since he pretty much ran the show for us last season.

Can someone with some experience in MP leagues offer some advice about what utilities you guys are using to conduct your amateur drafts? I've heard it's a somewhat arduous process to get the data into the draft utility from the game, but that's the least of my concerns right now....we're just in a bit of a quandry since we don't have a utility to use, period.

If someone could point me in the right direction for a draft utility that works well and is (hopefully) easy to implement, I'd greatly appreciate it. Reply here, or PM. Thanks!

Why can't you just keep using VPI's? It's not THAT hard to set up for another season.

I'm hoping to develop an ASP.NET-based one for WOOF's new ASP.NET-based site, but that's a few months away at least.

VPI hosted it on the IHOF site for us, so we don't have any of the code, etc. If we had that, I think I could set it up pretty easily on our end.

Ah. I don't have the actual code with me (lordscarlet had that for us), I know that it was given to us, so likely one of those sources will stand up and get it to you soon.

Here's the HFL draft utility that I've emailed to several people asking for it:
http://www.hfl-football.net/draft.zip
http://www.hfl-football.net/draft_database.zip
http://www.hfl-football.net/Draft%20Setup.doc

It's a mod of an early version of VPI's made by Lonnie of the NAFL.
