New here... a few questions

Hi, I'm a newbie to FOF, just wanted to ask a few questioins. I play in a multi player league, but I'd like to start a single player league with NFL players... the only problem is whenever I boot up the game, I never see a chance to play as NFL teams... how would I go about playing with the NFL teams and rosters?

Secondly, I'm slightly confused on how to set up my defense. I want a zone coverage scheme, but I'm not quite sure what option I would need to look into to make sure that is the case? I'd mainly like to play Cover 2, but I don't see an option to do so....

Any help would be appreciated! And thanks in advance!

When starting a new game, select "Begin without Draft", select No for Begin game using alternate player file and No for Begin game using random player file

In the "Depth Chart and Game Plan" screen, the Pass Coverage options are near the bottom. If you want to run a Cover 2 zone scheme, that would be the "2 Deep, Bump and Run" option. Just jack that percentage up some.

Don't set it to 100 for each situation, though. To be successful, you can't give the offense the same look on every play. You have to mix it up some. And of course, you'll want all DBs to have really high "Bump and Run" and "Zone" ratings. And if you plan on using the Cover 2 in running situations, you're DL and LBs need to be studs in stopping the run since the Cover 2 is inherently weaker against the run than the Man ocverage options.

I also suggest reading through this: http://www.solecismic.com/support/FO...layerGuide.pdf

That goes over all of the basics of FOF.

Due to licsensing issues, it doesn't come stocked with NFL teams (but does have the players). I'm pretty sure the cities and divisions are correct - so just whip through and change all the teams nicknames (Global Game Options - Edit Franchise Nicknames). Once you do it once, it is saved.

Please note that if you are going to play MP and SP at same time, you will have to run batch files or rename you universe folder, etc. each time you want to switch between the two.
