Funny story. I want a remote controlled zeppelin too.
I'm going to look in the Sharper Image catalogs now. I've had those 0 to 200 mph in 1 second wake ups too. ![]() |

I had something like this happen a long time ago. Before I was married, I used to listen to music every night before I went to sleep. With headphones. And very loud. Despite the volume, I would usually fall asleep after 2 or 3 songs, then half-awake later on and take the headphones off before falling quickly back to sleep.
One night I was listening to a particular CD that had a track 9 that started with loud clapping. I was asleep, of course, by track 2 or 3. So when track 9 started up, with the loud clapping, I literally sprung out of bed waving my arms in all directions, sure that I was being attacked by something. It took me a full 5 seconds to first realize that it was clapping that I was hearing, and not gunfire or something else my mind hadn't quite registered, and then another frantic 3 seconds or so to realize it was coming from the headphones attached to my head. I don't think my heart has ever beat any faster than it did that night. So, I can relate, if indeed that is a true story.

Rick/primelord: You and I probably can relate very well to this (except the blimps we see are not there).

A few days ago, my wife told me that the Zany Brainy here is going out of business ... I'll have to go look for the blimp.
