well i really didn't do well in my first try but i hope this time it will be different.

1087-King Olaf gathered his royal knight a unit of spearmen and vikings and left denmark to invade sweeden in efforts to eventually take over the known world.

sweden falls before olaf who decieds to attack norway in 1088 which also falls

with 3 provinces under his control olaf plans to build boats out of all 3 and create great trading routes to build the kingdoms coffers which will allow expansion with ireland and scottland tops on the list

i attacked with 181 men vs 240

i lost 17 royal knights 33 vikings and 31 spearmen i wasn't planning on doing a dynasty but i am not always successfull in my bid to take norway on the 2nd turn since i was this time i figure i may have good luck and do a dynasty on this. The battle took place in the woods on a hill it was fun to play while the computer chose the place i believe it worked to my advantage as i was able to isolate his troops and not get flanked to bad he sent 2 groups of vikings at my king while his vikings and my vikings clashed along with my spearmen and his other vikings but my 3 units hit one group of his vikings first i believe that was the difference in the battle as he lost 8 vikings before his other 3 units every entered the battle

1171-the danish trade chain encompasses the known world and the army delvopement begins. England has scottland under their rule and we don't wish to start a holy war we are startled to see bzyantine rule has extended to north africa with no sign of the egyptians we currently we build our army and then choose where to strike.

The king wishes denmark to build siege engines and boats, swedan will build some heavy calvary and espionage forces while norway will build vikings and later on other infantry units which probally be the bulk of our army.

Good thing with the danes any place you take over you drop a fort and you can get vikings which is critical when trying to raise an army fast.

1184- we don't have the ability to produce knights yet so i take a group of royal knights along with 4 archers 2 ballista 9 vikings and invade lithuania which is owened by rebels all but 226 flee those 226 flee into the fort

1185-we attack the fort are ballista take out the gate and our troops charge in while our archers shoot woodsmen are no match for vikings.

in 1186 we took our 4th province

1n 1189 we take our 5th novgorod 790 vs 192

not much of a fight we lose 42men taking down the fort trying to build forts and vikings as fast as possible to get an army capable with dealing with anything that may come about

egyptians are back

i am very worried about me only have 3 places able to produce quality troops (norway denark and sweeden its going to take a very long time to build up the places i am taking from the rebels hopefully i can get a couple built up places from someone else and make quick use of mercenaries that may be available.

1199- we attack muscovy with a full 16 units but the rebels flee

(on a side note muscovy was built up almost as much as my best providences which will come in handy when the high age and better units are available)

1211-i know possess 10 providences the northest is all under danish rule 2 providences owned by the novgord are my next targets

chief rum if your reading this just for reference those 10 providences bring in 29k in wealth a turn and my expenses are currently only 7k but they are going now as i am building as many armies as possible (i don't do that from the begining as i want to save on expenses i only build what i absolutly need)
