You learn something new every day (injuries)

I saw a first today. Don't know whether anyone else has seen it. Never before I have noticed a guy on my roster getting an injury during the week the team did not play. In the USFL, my team got knocked out in the divisional round. After the Bowl game, my SLB is out 5 weeks because of an appendectomy even though he was completely healthy the week before. Now, I know that's not technically a football injury, but still, I thought those only occurred during after weeks. Also interesting is the fact that the appendectomy does not show up in his transactions log. I think it's cool and realistic.

Wow, I thought we both learned something new.

When I opened this post, I went straight for the screenie to see if I could see what you learned before I read "your answer".

I was amazed that he needed an appendectomy for a his mild ankle injury

Yep, my IHOF QB went out with an appendectomy on a bye week.
