Great seasons by unlikely players?

I love pouring over stats and finding guys like this who have had unexpected stellar years.

Granted, he had Ken Stabler throwing to him this year, but leading the league with 111 catches for a 31/31 scrub is quite impressive.

The real interesting story is going to be what he commands next year. I'm expecting his salary demands to go up.

5.76 yards per target isn't exactly impressive. Sounds like a crappy team that was forced to throw a ton, or a human team that threw a buttload...

It was a CPU team, but you're right, they threw a league high 699 times.

Their starter, Fred Biletnikoff was out all year, but only 17 drops isn't bad by Houston either.

The 51.2% on catches to targets is a little worriesome; I like to see that number above 55% before I pick up a FA.

Depending on the level of masking I would put some of the blame on his endurance.

I love that kind of stuff!!!

Of course being targeted over 200 times should result in 100+ catches.

Where was Cliff Branch or even Mike Siani?

Been a while since I have checked in, but viewing this post and looking at the players I noticed that they have ratings next to their positions. How do you get to do that, because that is not standard in the game.

It's a graphical mod I created when the game was released, that changes the position experience tags, adding a number next to the position to make it easier to see the experience that the player has, instead of just using the default colored tags.

Greg included this mod in his great utility suite, you need to run the resource patcher and to choose the position experience tags by Icy.

Here is his tool:

And here is the thread where i released and explained the different graphical mods i created for FOF2k7.
