Cluster Headaches

Anyone else ever experienced these? I first had an attack about 10 years ago and they come back usually about once or twice a year, although sometimes they can be gone for several years.

This is seriously the most intense pain I've felt in my entire life. This includes when I had kidney stones or when I broke my foot in five places. It feels like someone is trying to drill a hole into the side of my head, but they're doing it very very slowly. Even the strongest pain medication isn't completely effective. After my most recent attack started a few days ago, I went to the ER and they had me on Morphine. I felt high as a bird but the headache was still killing me.

Right now they have me on a very strong dose of Hydrocodone, which stops the pain temporarily, but it keeps coming back. The frustrating thing is there's no way to tell when these attacks will finally stop. So I just sit here and wait and drug myself up until it finally goes away.
