Cool This is not going to work

I found a little bit of time today to do some downloading at work. What I was able to put onto a CD was as follows:

OOTP 5
OOTP 5.01 patch
OOTP 5 manual

TDCB Demo
TDCB 1.18
TDCB 1.21 patch
TDCB manual/guide

and all of the FOF Historical files

I even thought about getting the CM4 demo while I was at it but none of the mirror sites had decent download speed but it's not worth it anyways.

Add to the above list the following games sitting on my shelf or will be available soon:

Medieval Vikings
Europe 1400: The Guild
Gothic II
Medal of Honor expansion

plus my current Madden 2003 career that I've been slowly playing over the last 2 weeks, as well as a Civ2 PBEM and the JBL OOTP league, and the fact that I seem to only play games about 3 nights a week... Well, you get the picture. This is not going to work.

Sure it'll work! It'll work like a charm, assuming you have neither a job nor a spouse/significant other nor children and only require 4 hours of sleep per night.

I hear cocaine and methamphetamines can be very helpful in such situations.

I can certainly sympathize. I've been playing Europa 1400: the Guild for a few weeks now and have been really impressed. I've still not played enough Medieval Total War, and god help me when Gothic II comes out. Then there's OOTP5, which I'm itching to get. At least the MOO3 debacle has given me a reprieve until they start patching it.

And then there are trivial matters of finishing my dissertation in a month and the arrival of our first baby in June. Sheesh. How'm I supposed to get my gaming in?!

Like me, the only downside is I have to sell crack to support my habit...

I have the same problem. Well that, and only a few games truly interest me these days. I often find myself purchasing a game, and then getting bored of it a few days later.

The problem is, I think I'll have a ton of fun with these games (see Madden), and I spend time dreaming up dynasties, etc...that I get bored of after a few games :/

The only games to hold my attention for long spans lately have been CM3, OOTP4, and TDCB...

Wow, I guess I have no right to complain then. Good luck, Fonz.

At least selling crack is a victimless crime
