Video editing help needed........

I have a video file of my daughter that I took on my digital camera. Unfortunately, it was filmed so it displays sideways on my computer when I play it. Is there any free software that is easy to use that will rotate my video to display right side up? Thanks in advance.

Just flip your monitor 90 degrees...

On a serious note: did your camera come with any editing software by any chance? If it did, the software might be advanced enough to do the trick for you.

I don't know if Adobe still offers their free 30 day trial of Premiere, but, if they do, you can get that and you should be able to rotate the video. It's been a couple of years since I've used the free trial and I don't recall there being any water marks or anything like that being on the finished project.

I'm assuming you are on a Windows machine, so maybe Windows Movie Maker might be able to it as well. Just not familiar with it to know for sure.

VirtualDub should do the trick:

And ditto to Windows Movie Maker. However if you are having trouble with that or just sick of Microsoft product, try out VirtualDub.

VirtualDub will do it. I have it and just quickly checked and it does have a rotate Filter.
