Pink Floyd is the most overrated band in history.

Maybe I just did not do enough drugs in my youth to understand Pink Floyd or The Wall movie?

Pink Floyd is so much more than just the movie "The Wall" or drugs. Anyone that listens to "Dark Side of the Moon" and doesn't get the brilliance of Pink Floyd, well, that is a person who is dead to me. Add in "Wish You Were Here", "Animals" and "Meddle" (particularly the side devoted to "Echoes") and you get a band that cannot be over-rated.

I have never seen The Wall sober, though I've watched it a couple dozen times. To this day, I have no idea what this movie is about or even what sequence the scenes fall in.

Pink Floyd were not a "song" band, they were an "album" band, and very few people have been able to make albums quite like Pink Floyd. From Saucerful of Secrets through to the Wall they were consistently excellent.
