Ping SackAttack:
That package arrived today
Words can't adequately convey the level of anger I have towards you at the moment. I mean, I'm trying to pretend it's Rock Band training, but god, the 80's set.. such gloriously good "bad" songs. Let's put it this way.. in the last 15 minutes for my job, I've sung.. Billy Joel "Uptown Girl" Twisted Sister "We're Not Gonna Take It" Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger". RUN DMC's "Tricky" The people within a mile of me have unanimously voted for me to never sing, ever again. ![]() (For the rest of you, I'm one of SackAttack's reviewers, and since I did the previous two reviews for the SingStar series, amongst the other games in the package that I have to Review, is SingStar Amped, and Singstar, The 80s..) I'm tempted to record it and inflict it on all of you. I'm a big believer in sharing the pain.

Foz...I got a little confession to make.
I used to be in a High Heat league, way back in my Mizzou days. For whatever reason - time has obscured it to my memory - I had access to the league's FTP, and one evil, evil day, I recorded myself singing "Eye of the Tiger" and uploaded it to the site. Remember that I'm deaf in the right, and as such don't carry a tune real well. Now reconsider whether your singing quite reaches the level of atrocity mine does. ![]() |

I also have Singstar, The 80s. Last weekend, my friend brought over his two kids, ages 8 and 6. The 8 year old boy played a few sets of Guitar Hero with me and had a good time. His younger sister wanted to play Singstar with me. I tossed in the 80s version and quickly realized that a 6 year old child doesn't know a whole lot of the 80s songs that I love so much. After checking each song to see if she knew it, we finally found one song that she knew. She wanted to sing 'Material Girl'. We ended up singing that song 6 or 7 times before she finally deemed that she was done. |
