Have to say I loved Nirvana - but I've seen AC/DC live before and they were fantastic showmen ..

AC/DC definitely over Nirvana... considering they actually didn't wither and die when their lead singer did.

I asked Ant which band he would vote for and he said Nirvana... and he doesn't even listen to rock! Well, he listens to it but not by choice

AC/DC concerts look WICKED. And they actually look, you know... FUN.

This is the first time that I've voted for either of these bands. Shows how successful my vote has been in this contest.

The time I saw them was one of the Monsters of Rock concerts at Castle Donnington in England ...

They were fantastic showmen and I still remember the cannons above the stage itself firing at one point and showering people with AC/DC dollar bills (my mum still has the one I grabbed in her study at home) ... I seem to have vague memories of giant inflatable devils also and a manic guitarist leaping around everywhere

Definitely the best band I've seen live - even beating G 'n R and I was a huge Guns and Roses fan at one point ...

Man oh man... I wish I could've been able to catch an AC/DC concert.

Looks like I'll have to add it to one of my life goals.

When is the vote over? I'd hate for AC/DC to get screwed like CCR I did. Speaking of which, vote Johnny Cash before it's too late!

At the top of each poll, it says when it will close:

This poll will close on 11-19-2007 at 11:41 PM

42-45 right now, Nirvana up by 3.

This vote has certainly opened my eyes as to what defines a live rock and roll concert experience means to a lot of people on the boards.

It says 11-20-2007 at 4:41 AM on my screen! This is how you screwed CCR! You shut the poll down early and we had plenty of disenfranchised voters who couldn't vote because of it! What is this, Broward County? What ended up happening is CCR lost by a lone vote and it's because you shut it down too early!

Yes. Well, I'm reading it from the Eastern time zone. Your results may vary.

To further clear things up, I have no control when it closes once the poll is posted. Every poll runs exactly 24 hours. Nobody is getting hosed. Believe me, I wanted Pearl Jam to lose as much as you did.
