Need Help with a Wii Purchase
I bought a Wii for my son as a Christmas present and I have some questions. I bought only the Wii console, so I need to know what else I need? Do I need another controller or two, and if so, any particular one(s)? Are there any other accessories that we need to purchase to ensure that we can hook it up and play it on Christmas morning? Also, are there any "must have" games that every Wii owner should have? Thanks!

If you want 2 player ability, you'll need another Wii Remote and a Nunchuk. I'd recommend buying Wii Play which retails for $50 but includes a $40 Remote with it. Then you'd only need to buy the $20 Nunchuk. I just recently bought mine and have only played Wii Sports so far, so I'm not much help on the games, although Super Mario Galaxy is an obvious buy.

Perfect reply, except it doesn't emphasize the importance of purchasing Super Mario Galaxy. Absolutely MUST buy.

I would pick up a charge kit for them as well. I have the Nyko one and it works great. (Because the wiimotes use double a's there are kits you can pick up that will replace them with nicad packs, so you don't have to worry about batteries). Otherwise have lots of batteries on hand.
