No Player Editor with this game ?

I am new to the game, having just tried the demo so far, and am wondering if anyone would be kind enough to answer a couple of questions for me.

There is no Player Editor with this game and no option to turn financials off ?

Thanks ...

I must say, I find it a bit odd that the game doesn't have both of them.

But maybe that's just me ...

Actually, you can edit players using the players.csv file that is included with the game. You can't change players after your career is already moving, though.

To add to that, you can also create your own draft classes (on top of creating the initial player pool of your league), if you wanted to.

Now that is interesting ...

And that actually may be better than having a in-game editor.

As for the financials ...

What happens if you jack the salary cap way up ?

Do the players just demand more and more money as their contracts become due ?

In single-player, in my opinion, it helps the AI controlled teams retain veterans.

In my multi-player experience, a cap squeeze is initially less likely. But, the laws of supply and demand fully apply; therefore, good teams will eventually "nuzzle-up" to the cap.
