Happy Thanksgiving

I wanted to wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

I hope your day goes well in whatever manner you chose to spend it, be it with friends, family, alone, etc...

This is my favorite holiday of the year. I get to stuff my face with turkey and watch football. Then have left over turkey for the next week. Add the family time into the mix without the expense of Christmas and it makes it even better.

I still miss the T-Days of old though, as a kid. Getting up in the morning, going to see our local high school's football game against their rivals (a game which used to mean something as both teams were usually at or near the top back then), coming home for the turkey, relaxing and watching football, having some leftovers in the evening, more football and then not having to go back to school for a few more days.

Oh, to add to the thread I will add what I am most thankful for. Feel free to add your's as you wish as well.

I am most thankful for my two daughters. It is a joy watching them grow up. I am probably far fro the best parent in the world but I just hope that I am doing the best that I can to help them grow up and be prepared for their own lives, when that time finally comes.

Happy Thanksgiving all. Like my namesake, this is one of my favorite holidays. I miss the days of going to my grandmother's and her homemade pumpkin pie as well as all of the festivities of the day. I'm thankful for my wife, my mother's relatively improved health, and a job that I'm happy with.

Happy Thanksgiving. This, in my opinion, begins the best stretch of the year.

Many times in this life we forget the important things. We get wrapped up in our fandom, we get irate or frustrated over a video game, or something equally as trivial.

Today, where I am, is the day to step back and take stock in what I have, and rejoice in the good things. Family, Children, friends and loved ones. Even material things can be a source of real comfort, knowing that we have come so far from the destitute basement apartment we used to live in and knowing that our good fortune in finding the perfect home has allowed us to help others we love when they needed it.

Its also a time to prioritize ourselves...realize that while a new toy or tool or vehicle would be really great, that perhaps giving even a little to those who aren't as fortunate as we are can be a thousand times more fulfilling.

Today I wish you and yours and all those around you the best and happiest hours you can find. May your wishes come true, may your lives be fulfilled and may the world in some small way become a better place.

Very well said Render. I have so much to be thankful for this year, from my job and my wife, to my kids, my mother's improved health. Many years Thanksgiving has been about eating great food. Today it really is about appreciating all that has been given to me and all that I have earned.

Happy Thanksgiving all.

I won't bore you all with the things I'm thankful for, as we'd be here for a while.

But now....I get ready for Thanksgiving at my Mother-in-laws.....yay! (sarcasm) I can say that as my wife posts here and will definately see this....but feels the same way! lol It's all good though.

Have a great day everyone. May your bellies ache from over eating soon!

Cheers!

Was possibly the best Thanksgiving I have ever had, or remember having I guess.

Wasn't home for it last year so I think that really bumped it up in my eyes some. Add on a Packer victory, great food, and sitting on the couch in the morning watching the parades with my daughter, and it was just good from begining to end even without the chance to get some ass.

Hope everyone had a decent day.
